As of my current knowledge, the Canon R1 camera is still in development and Canon has not officially announced a release date for it. However, there have been some rumors and speculations suggesting that the camera may be released in the second half of 2023, possibly in the fall season. Of course, these are just rumors and should be taken with a grain of salt. It’s best to wait for official announcements from Canon regarding the release date of the Canon R1.
